Installing FoodLink FoodLink
is the software of most buying clubs. It enables the coordinator to
easily input orders and it will allow you to have a copy of the catalog
on your computer and to see how much money you owe us, or we owe you on
the computer. FoodLink also makes splitting orders easy. Setting up FoodLink on your computer is pretty
easy and takes about 15 minutes. We highly recommend it, however if you
don’t want to install a new program onto your computer or don’t want to
take the time, we can work something else out. Here’s how to set it up: Step 1: Go to http://www.unitedbuyingclubs.com/COORDINATORS/FOODLINK/FoodLink_Main.htm or go to United Buying Club's website at http://www.unitedbuyingclubs.com/index.html and look for FoodLink software, Version 6. You want to save this onto your computer in a folder. Step 2: Go to My Computer and open the Installation Wizard for FoodLink. Follow the instructions. Step 3: Open the FoodLink software, a welcome screen should appear. Select "Member" and press "OK". Step 4: What pops up next is a screen with two
bold headings; Set Up and Ordering. Start following the directions
under Set-Up. We have sent all members the FoodLink settings, save
these onto your computer. If you need help with the set up process at
anytime, just press F1 on your computer, if you need more help, e-mail
us, or call Lily at 978.456.3568. Step 5: Click "Update your settings", and then
click "Import Settings File". If the computer is unable to import the
settings, you probably have saved the information to the wrong place.
Make sure you have saved the settings to your computer, if it is still
not working, e-mail or call us. Step 6: Select your member ID and your e-mail address. Press Exit. Step 7: We have also sent the new pricelist, save this to your computer. Then press "Import Price List", follow the directions. Step 8: Look at the pricelist! Choose what you want, then click "Enter Order" Step 9: E-mail it to us by the date the order is
due, then send the check to school. Checks can be brought to the
office, made out to Parker School.
